UFT stands for Unified Functional Testing, earlier called it as Quick Test Professional (QTP), a product of HP (Hewlett Packard) company. It is a Licensed tool. It helps testers to perform automation testing on both web and desktop applications. The tool uses VB Scripting and do functional testing, regression and service testing on different operating systems on different browsers. The latest version of UFT currently we are using is 12.5
